Back to ourselves ??

Really great game today and more important than the result, the effort and commitment from every player was spot on. That’s all we can ask for as a coaching team.

Hard to pick a single player today with some great performances across the board. They were a strong physical side and the pitch wasn’t set up for perfect passing football.

Henry leading the team and line up top, Harry and Phoenix working hard in the middle, a brief midfield cameo from Ted followed by solid defensive work thereafter, George clearing everything, Jamie battling well in midfield and defence, good tackling from Oliver, nearly a goal for Oskar and backflips from Violet after what proved to be the winning goal! Elliot with a couple of unbelievable stops that kept us on top.

A word for the opposition who were great opponents and played their part in an excellent game. The spirit and respect from both teams was exemplary.

Let’s keep it up ?
